I like how Mark runs the fishery and his wife does the cafe as its clean and tidy everywhere the fish are in pristine condition and the lakes well kept. The tackle shop is slowly getting there and increasing with more tackle and much needed baits.
Russ owns it I believe and makes it what it is with the help of his wife as well supplying the cafe. Parking is ample and the only one thing I could say against it is that you could do with a couple more toilets as one isn't enough.

My son took part in one of the introduction to fishing courses today and it was absolutely fantastic! The course was run by a lovely couple (wish I’d caught their names). It was completely free, with only a donation requested for a local charity such a brilliant idea. My son was buzzing after catching 3 fish during the lesson! The staff were all so friendly, the cafe was reasonably priced, and the whole place was really well maintained. We’ll definitely be going back again.

Went for first time with my mate Andy , not fished for years . Started with a fantastic breakfast 😋 then did a day's fishing on Bailey's lake . We had a great time and caught plenty. Definitely go again 😃

I brought my Dad here, it was the first time he had really been fishing in nearly 40 years. His negativity soon switched to becoming excited for the next fish. We lost count of how many we landed and had lots of fun. I suspect next time I suggest fishing he will be keen to join.
Staff here are very friendly and helpful. The facility is well kept and very pretty.
We had most of our success on a method with pellet and hemp mix. We also caught using a floating feeder.

Lovely time over half term bringing my boys here. Clean friendly, plenty of fish and peaceful. I can see us spending many weekends here!
