3rd Place \u2014 Sue Fletcher (Peg 19) \u2014 38lb 14oz<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dave’s winning method was a short pole line at 5 metres with red maggot over groundbait, picking off a steady run of skimmers and bream throughout the session. A late flurry of carp in the final hour sealed the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The overall standard was excellent with most pegs recording double-figure weights \u2014 a real testament to how well stocked the lake is heading into spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our next open match is scheduled for the last Saturday of next month. Entry is \u00a315 per person and pegs are draw-only on the day. Gates open at 6am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
